FROM VILLE TO THE CITY

People say that fashion has no rules
Just like any other form of art, like painting, dance, music, and stage art, fashion also absorbs inspiration from so many aspects in life. From the most cutting edge trend to the very unexposed tradition
Again, it is a freedom to play, and i, of course, implement it in my daily life whole-heartedly
Currently really in love with this brand from Bali, named "MANIKAN" who inject a traditional Balinese print heritage into modern life by applying "Endek" into their creations
"Endek" itself, served its purpose as ceremonial costumes only. It is a fairly rare occurence and far removed from the daily wear of even the Balinese.

I always humbly appreciate those people who think forward but not leaving their heritage and where they came from. Together with this innovation, i mixed and matched it with a touch of my own daily preference
Been known for being quite a "diva" in the blogsphere, lately, i've been digging a much simplified attire. Maybe it's the age? or maybe it's the weight?
Wherever it is that connects my awkwardness in being too glam looking and the fact that i reconnect myself to Japanese tourists' basic style, i came up to how i look like these days
Shortcutly, this kinda look !

I was wearing: thrifted beanie // thrifted gingham shirt // pig colony tie // PULL&BEAR sweat pants // PORTEE tassel loafer // MANIKAN Endek Rucksack
