HIGH FIVE TWENTY FIVE

in my smoky and unorganized bedroom

...

time is ticking

seconds are collected into minutes and growing into hour

they're walking, leaving my birthday behind

slowly but very surely

time gave me a new age, a quarter of century to be exact...

I call it, "quarter life crisis"

Eight years ago, when i was seventeen, i said to myself

"... i'm gonna be someone by the time i'm 25..."

Now, that the deadline has passed, i feel foolish and somehow ashamed

Ashamed of that optimistic and naive boy who i have left eight years behind

I could not give what he wished for

I am still a no one, or probably,  a quarter someone

There are so many things i want to achieve yet they feel so faraway

God knows and i know that i'm no longer a boy and my time is not much anymore

I hope life is long enough for me to become a whole someone

...

Now lets leave the poetic side of mine and talk about the outfit :) 

If you happen to like the floral shirts above, they're actually not shirts!

 They are lurik, a kind of traditional apparel from Java

Lurik has vary kind of patterns, both for nobles and commoners

Lurik is most well-known for their stripes pattern, combining brown with dark green or brown with  purple 

They are usually worn with a blangkon (a traditional hat from Java), but these ones on me are called Lurik Kembangan, or in English it might be translated as "Floral Lurik"

I purchased them a couple months ago on my trip to Yogyakarta
 I was in the mood for floral so i kinda went crazy and came home with five pieces of them :-p

This is the first time i wore them, and i have never worn orange for ages !

Ow, and to close this post, i'd like to thank everyone who sent me their wishes, through BBM, whatsapp, facebook wall, twitter, e-mails, phone, yahoo messenger, skype, and everything !

It was a busy day saying thank you to all of you, so once again...
