NOT SO CARRIE(d) AWAY

Tuesday, June 8th 2010 was a quality time for me n a bestmate of mine. We decided to watched Sex and The City 2, just like we watched the first movie a couple years ago. I was really excited. I mean, i don't really watch movies. I HARDLY watch movies, but this was a big expectation. Sadly, to me, it was a bit flop. You can still see the beautiful friendship between the mighty four, as it has always been the main issue it wants to deliver. Only, other than that, i find it...ummm...uninspiring. Especially i don't really like the part where it (the movie) describes The Middle East as a heavenly destination at first and then drops it down and hard the next hour. Creating a certain type of point of view towards some place, community or race is a bit overreacting and...typical Hollywood. The movie was still fun of course, you can still see Carrie in her Blahniks, Charlotte with her not-so-perfect-perfectionism, Samantha with her bursting estrogen and Miranda with her smart attitude. And it was still a female-empowerment-minded-movie which i hand-down for... But overall, unlike what Samantha said about Big who got carrie(d) away in the first movie, this time i was't. But it's just me and my flat knowledge about movies
